Jesus

While I do not try to push my faith on others, I felt led to make a page dedicated to Jesus.

I'm not writing much as I'm no expert. I definitely do not claim to be perfect but am growing in Christ and intend to keep growing until He comes back for us. One never can be as good as their Master but to always strive and grow to that goal is what believers do.

I may one day elaborate on the Christian faith but as I said…..even though I was saved at the age of eight…..I'm no expert and I would wish to do so in such a manner as to truly explain and not just get under people's skin. Obviously, once you start talking about Jesus, you're going to step on some toes but I prefer for those toes to belong to people who are very easily offended anyway. {smile  :)  }

One of my strong beliefs is against abortion of human children. There's a red button for lots of people, no matter what you believe. Well, let me just say, there was a time I believed in abortion…..thankfully I changed my mind not long before we conceived our first child. Now it's like she's always been here, even to the point of sometimes starting to ask her if she remembers something from…..whenever…..and all of a sudden realizing that was a few years before she was born. {smile  :)  }

I do not believe that folks should kill or hurt abortion doctors, especially in the name of Christianity. That is not what our faith is about. We Love people, God is Love…..although I will admit, this is sometimes hard. I believe we should stand strong for what we believe in, fight when necessary but do not harm others when there are so many other ways to settle things. Obviously, there are times we must defend ourselves but if at all possible, avoid violence.

Take for example, the Spanish Inquisition…..that was totally unnecessary and not at all what Jesus would do. We are not meant to bully, torture or manipulate people into accepting Jesus. They must make their own decision.

I am not here to blame or condemn.

Jesus did not come to condemn us but to save us.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." ----- John chapter 3 : verses 16, 17.

I consider the Jewish faith to be our elder brother.

I believe Jesus to be the Son of the one, true living God and that He (Jesus) was beaten and put on the cross, died, rose and ascended to the right hand of God, to take all of our sins and afflictions. All we have to do is confess our sins, believe on Him as our Savior and ask Him to come into our lives.

Sincerely,
Chrissy Ingram

Oh, by the way, I thought I might mention this. It's come to my attention that some folks don't know how to pray….. I'd say just talk to God like you would you're Dad or your Grandpa but I know some people don't have that luxury…..so, talk to Him like you would your most respected, trusted friend.  {grin  :-D  }

(If, however, you do not have such a friend, talk to Him like you imagine a trusted friend would be like and ask Him to help you communicate with Him. He is very loving and will always be there for you, whether you realize it or not.)
