Date Of Birth: February 15, 2004 Pictured at about three years old. Please Note: We do not breed specifically for merle or any other pattern or color. Before her passing, we owned Morgan for her beauty, personality and the joy she was to have around. We had bred her for her structure and personality. She only produced merle puppies in one litter out of three, resulting in four merle puppies out of six in that litter. She seemed to produce solids well and that's what we want. Please remember that her non-merle pups, grandpups, etc. cannot produce the merle pattern as a dog must be merle to produce merle. That said, the buff color can hide the merle pattern if that dog has brown eyes with no blue. But, if that dog is bred and produces a merle pup, whether by coat pattern or eye color, you know the "buff" dog is a "hidden merle". We do not charge more for any puppies or dogs of "unusual" color or pattern. Potential new owners are thoroughly screened. There is a great difference between merle, roan and ticking. Please learn the difference before breeding them. Please do not breed a merle to another merle. This leads to "double merle" puppies who can be born deaf, blind or dead. Please do not breed a merle to a roan and please don't breed a roan to a dog with ticking as this all seems to confuse things.
