Announcement! New puppies born Sunday, April 5, 2009. Two males and two females, black with tan points and merle pattern (blue merle and tan). The one boy is almost all black and tan but just has a few merle markings. Also, two males, black with tan points. All are currently "companion/gundog" though the two blk/tn males may be show/breeding quality once they have been evaluated at eight-weeks-old. "Little Dude" is a black companion/gundog male. We were hoping to show him but he's just too small for the show ring. Only about 12-13 inches at the shoulder and about fifteen pounds. He's very nicely put together but too small for breeding. He's available to a loving family or individual, on full ownership to the new owner, with limited AKC. $300.00

We own Morgan for her beauty, personality and the joy she is to have around. We have bred her for her structure and personality. Out of three litters she's only had merles in one, she seems to produce solids well and that's what we want. We will not charge more for any of her puppies and potential new owners will still be thoroughly screened. She will not be bred often as none of our dogs are.
There is a great difference between merle, roan and ticking. Please learn the difference before breeding them. Please do not breed a merle to a merle. This leads to "double merle" puppies who can be born deaf, blind or dead.
Please do not breed a merle to a roan and please don't breed a roan to a dog with ticking as this all seems to confuse things.

Maple Way American Faith, "Abe" is a companion/gundog male. He has very light tan points (can't see them in the photo) and is a mismark which means he has too much white to be shown in AKC conformation as a solid color and not enough white to be shown as a parti. He is a very loving boy, though, with nice structure and will be a great companion and performance dog. He was placed as a puppy but came back to us after his owners had a family crisis and couldn't keep him. Abe is available to a loving family or individual, on full ownership to the new owner, with limited AKC. $300.00
