arolaska began when Rick and Carol Kentopp moved from North Carolina to Alaska in 1967. They brought with them their foundation pair of Great Pyrenees dogs, Balibasque Beau Of Karolaska, CD, HOF and Quibbletown Queeka Bear, HOF.

We in the breed are very fortunate and grateful to Kimberly for this. I would personally like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Kimberly and her parents. Many of our Pyrs have been out of Karolaska bloodlines and they are wonderful dogs in every way.
